- Rating-based matching means you fight opponents of similar arena performance, NOT similar account power
- New players get easier matchups initially — exploit this by using your free attempts immediately
- Inactivity penalty can cause rating decay in higher tiers
- Defense formations matter — other players attack YOUR defense team while you're offline
Strategic insight: If you're pushing for a tier promotion, focus your 5 daily attempts on offense during low-activity hours (early morning server time). Opponents are more likely to have weaker defense teams during off-peak.
