Build Priority by Playstyle
Not all Masters are equal investments. Here’s where to spend your Emblems first depending on how you play.
F2P / Mid-Spender
Best long-term value
Maximize passive income & materials
- 1Valora1st
Focus Skill 2 & 3 to Lv.3 first — Enhancement EXP + Forge Hammers. Then move to Pan; only push Lv.4+ early if your Bear Hunt attendance is strong.
Best early skills: Leader By Example, Weapon Obsession.
- 2Pan2nd
Skill 1 → 4 → 2 → 3. More Intel = more Truegold; more Mystery Badges = Widgets & Pet Materials.
Best early skills: Falconer, Ways and Means, Good Steward, Master Architect.
- 3Roman3rd
Skill 2 & 3 only — more Arena Badges and discounted Arena Shop items.
Best early skills: Winner Take All, Crowd Favorite.
P2W / Rally Leader
Best combat-first route
Dominate rally combat & Arena
- 1ValoraEqual 1st
All skills, but Skill 1 & 4 matter more here — you actually run rallies so squad capacity has real impact.
Best early skills: Dance of the Hunt, Savage Advantage, Leader By Example, Weapon Obsession.
- 2RomanEqual 1st
Skill 1 & 4 for combat stat boosts; Skill 2 & 3 for Mithril and Hero Gear Chests.
Best early skills: Teacher of Champions, One Desire, Winner Take All, Crowd Favorite.
- 3Pan2nd
Same order as F2P — extra Intel and Mystery Badges compound daily regardless of playstyle.
Best early skills: Falconer, Ways and Means, Good Steward, Master Architect.
Universal Rules
These apply no matter which route you take.
Always keep Learning running — Never let your Master's Learning sit idle — it's passive income you can't get back.
Emblems: Affinity before Research — Spend your Master Emblems advancing Affinity first, then put the rest into Research.
Alliance Championship Shop: Emblems before Manuscripts — Buy Emblems first in the Championship Shop — Manuscripts are secondary.
About Kingshot Masters
The full picture, in plain language.
The Master Academy unlocks once your kingdom reaches Generation 3 heroes (around server day 101-114) and your Town Center is level 25. You meet Masters through Realm Journeys and later Lostlands Journeys, building Affinity until each Master settles in your Town and their passive effects activate permanently.
Three Masters are currently live: Valora, whose Weapon Obsession skill adds Forge Hammers from Bear Hunt regardless of your damage score; Pan, whose skills generate compounding True Gold, hero shards, and mystery store chances every single day; and Roman, whose Arena Star Chest passive produces Mythic Shards and Forgehammers from Arena matches. A fourth Master is expected, and based on what the current three cover, a Battle Master focused on direct PvP stats and rally combat is the most likely addition.
The core rule is to separate unlocking from advancing. Journey Supplies and Adventure Supplies are not KvK-scoring resources, so spend them freely to get Pan and Roman unlocked. Master Emblems, Manuscripts, and Master Skill Speedups are KvK-sensitive, so hold those if your kingdom runs strict prep.
For the full F2P unlock path, resource breakdown, and KvK timing rules see the Master Academy Guide. For how Journey Supply spending fits into your daily loop, see the Daily Routine Guide.
