The Knowledge Nexus is a Mystic Trial dungeon where only your Academy and War Academy research determines success. Hero gear, pets, governor equipment, and charms are completely ignored. It opens every Friday and Saturday. Use a 50% Infantry / 20% Cavalry / 30% Archers formation for optimal stage clears, because your research investment is the sole factor that matters.

What Stats Actually Matter
Knowledge Nexus completely ignores most of your account progression. Only research from two specific buildings counts:
- Academy Research - All military technology trees (Infantry, Cavalry, Archer, Economic)
- War Academy Research - Advanced combat research (unlocks at higher Town Center levels)
Everything else is ignored:
- Hero levels and skills
- Hero gear and exclusive equipment
- Pet stats and abilities
- Governor gear and charms
- VIP bonuses

Unlock Requirements
Knowledge Nexus unlocks immediately when you access Mystic Trial at Town Center Level 19. Unlike Forest of Life (requires pets) or Crystal Cave (requires charms), Knowledge Nexus has no additional prerequisites.
This makes it one of the earliest Mystic Trial dungeons you can participate in.

Hero Selection (Doesn't Matter Much)
Since hero stats and skills are ignored, hero selection has minimal impact. However, you still need to assign heroes because they determine which troop types receive positional buffs.
